Great Location
Located right across from St. Paul’s University, The Wheat Berry is found amongst a smattering of shops that are the premier destinations for the city’s new age crowd. Vegetarian restaurant The Green Door, a new age book store Singing Pebble Books, and 3 Trees, a store filled with spiritual knick knacks, The Wheat Berry and its neighbouring shops provide the perfect one stop location to nurture the mind, body and spirit.

To Your Health
The Wheat Berry sells a large selection of healthy foods of all sorts. Bulk bins full of several types of rice, and everything else from soup to cereal to spelt line the aisles, all leading to the back wall, which offers a large selection of organic vegetables. Vegetarians will also be impressed, particularly by the “meatless meats” available, although they do carry organic dairy and free range eggs. Wheat Berry also stocks a number of toxin-free body care products, as well as natural cleaning supplies.

Vitamins and Minerals
With new age therapies rising in popularity, it’s no wonder that Wheat Berry has a large section devoted to alternative medicine. This natural living pharmacy carries herbal vitamins, supplements, and homeopathic medicines for every need and ailment. The store’s bountiful spice rack is also located here, allowing shoppers to pick up a pinch of cumin as they head to the cash register with their Echinacea.
