Carrying a wide range of products, from magazines and books, bathing supplies, aromatherapy and sex toys and accessories, Venus Envy is really several stores in one.

Positive and Friendly Atmosphere
The store is well run and is immediately comfortable and open, although you might be taken aback at first by the large selection of dildos and vibrators displayed along one wall. But you won't feel like you've stepped into a seedy sex shop; Venus Envy is open to sexuality, not ashamed of it. The staff is friendly, helpful, non-threatening and non-judgmental. Art shows by local artisans are always on display and rotate every two months or so.

The selection of books Venus Envy carries covers topics such as women's health, sexuality, fetish, erotic fiction, and intimacy. Their bath and bathing line of products are literally mouthwatering: bath bars that melt to your touch, chocolate paint for erotic foreplay, honey dust with feather duster applicators, and the list goes on. Perhaps the store's biggest claim to fame is the impressive selection of silicone toys, as they are one of the few stores in Canada to carry them. They do indeed come in all shapes and sizes, and while some are quite expensive, there is also a good line of latex models that are more affordable. And remember: safety first! Venus Envy also carries a great line of condoms, dental dams, and other protective gear.

The staff at Venus Envy also runs a series of creative and supportive workshops on a wide variety of issues important to women from all walks of life. Topics can range from women's health, sex toys and education, intimacy, youth sexuality, to bondage and S&M. Venus Envy is a welcome addition to the city and really cares about its clients.
