Whiskey Bar’s décor is a blend of Tex Mex and ski chalet, featuring stone walls, a fireplace, televisions in the corners, and American whiskies. (Watch out for the cacti!) There are four sections for you to enjoy: the bar, the booths, the dance floor and a lounge providing intimate nooks and crannies for private conversations. Geared towards the 20- to 30-something crowd, Whiskey's is somewhere between high society and your best friend's living room. Surprisingly unpretentious, this bar is the perfect place to sit and enjoy a drink or get your groove on the dance floor to an eclectic mix of ‘80s and ‘90s retro party music.
Living Up to Its Name
Need some liquid courage before you hit the dance floor? Ask for some help from Johnny Walker, Jack Daniels or Jim Beam (instead of the funky chicken you could be doing the Wild Turkey...). The bar is fully equipped with a wide variety of draft and bottled beers, top-shelf liquors and, of course, whiskies. From the rich and complex flavours of Ballantyne's blended malts to Wiser's full flavour Canadian whisky, Whiskey Bar lives up to its name. Not a big whisky fan? No need to worry: there are plenty of thirst quenching cocktails to enjoy.
Watch Out for Those Couches
Inviting and comfortable, once you have a seat in one of these big luxurious leather couches, you won't ever want to get up again. Luckily, the waitress will come to you! From door staff to coat check personnel, the service is fast, friendly, and easy on the eyes. With no cover charge and a dress code as casual as the attitude, Whiskey Bar makes you feel right at home.
