Friday and Saturday nights are busy here, especially in the summer, when the side terrace and sidewalk patio fill with sun and fun seekers. It tends to be frequented by a younger crowd, and the atmosphere is laid-back and friendly. There’s plenty of seating space, with larger tables and booths for groups, although not a lot of standing or dancing room.
Taste the World
The food here is eclectic. You’ll find all the basics: soups, salads, wraps, burgers and pizza, as well as British pub favourites with ethnic twists. There are enough creative options on the menu to satisfy vegetarians and picky eaters alike. Here you can mix and mingle, and get a burger to die for. The menu allows you to just have some finger foods, or a full meal; whatever suits your mood.
The Party Scene
By midnight on a weekend, you may have to maneuver carefully to get through to the bar, but it’s worth it: you’ll find an excellent selection of draft beer. Choose from premium domestics like Carlsberg and Kawartha Lakes, or imports like Bass and Guinness. It’s a fun stop in a great neighbourhood and it has food that stands out from most bars and pubs. Here you can look cool & eat well.
