Le Cordon Bleu is renowned for its tradition of excellence in the field of culinary arts. The origins of this revered institution can be traced as far back as the 16th century. Today, it has an ever-expanding international presence. Signatures restaurant offers living proof of this flourishing phenomenon. The art of gastronomy is taken to its highest level with innovative expressions in classical French cuisine. Food at this world-class establishment is prepared creatively using only the finest seasonal produce and delivered with unfailing professional attention.
For the Discerning Gourmet
In contrast to many other restaurants, Signatures offers a broad assortment of tableside services. Some of the dishes include flambéed fillet of beef, tableside cheese selections, or foie gras cut tableside. Among some of the many wonderful dishes is the boileau forest venison lightly scented with spice bread, fig cooked in sangria, wild mushrooms, and a celery root mousseline. Other favourites include roasted duck magret or rack of lamb. Such dishes of course must be accompanied by selections from the extensive list of fine international wines and the exquisite dessert menu. A dedicated team will put their knowledge to work for you so that your gastronomical experience is perfectly relaxed, enjoyable and memorable.
Soak up the Feeling
Situated just down the street from the former residence of Sir Wilfred Laurier and Mackenzie King, nestled in a beautiful spot overlooking historic Strathcona Park, Signatures is housed in an 1874 Tudor Revival-style mansion. The elegant interior is finished in a warm Provencal decorated by Pierre Deux. Six private salons are available for more intimate dining experiences, while the main dining room seats approximately 40 people.
