Near Major Attractions
Shannon's Bed and Breakfast is located off Laurier Avenue East, and east of the Rideau Canal. It is in downtown Ottawa within comfortable walking distance of most major tourist attractions. You’ll find Parliament Hill, Rideau Canal, the National Gallery, the Byward Market and the University of Ottawa minutes away. It is also reasonably close to the Museum of Civilization in Gatineau.
Four Rooms
Shannon’s Bed and Breakfast provides four rooms for visitors to choose from. One room is nicely carpeted with a private bathroom and a queen sized bed, with a wardrobe and two night tables. It provides a nice view of the outside. A second room has a double bed and a large desk. It includes a large bookshelf and a nice turning chair. It uses a shared bathroom and the entire room is carpeted. Room three includes two single-sized beds and a shared bathroom. This carpeted room includes a small counter, a desk with three chairs and a closet. The fourth room has a queen sized bed, two night tables, a desk, closet and two chairs and shared bathroom.
Room to Relax
The dining area, where breakfast is served, is also equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, kettle, a large table with six chairs, a colour television, a telephone, an overhead fan and magazines. You can also spend time on the sun porch, which has chairs and tables to kick back, relax and enjoy the view on a hot summer day.
