6br> Down on the Farm
You can’t miss this barn, or the vendors that fill its interior and spill out onto the lawn, where a gas barbecue grills hot dogs and burgers ready to be enjoyed at one of several picnic tables. Park your car on the grass and wander up to grab a bite and investigate the interior of the barn. Among the many edibles on offer are organic meat and game, sold from a refrigerated truck, as well as fudge, candy, preserves, jams and jellies, homemade baked goods, and even egg rolls and Asian dumplings, sold frozen. There’s even a small café area where you can enjoy a coffee to wash down your freshly-baked muffin or cookie.
A Crafty Place
Inside and out, artisans sell bentwood and twig furniture and garden trellises, carved wood ornaments, clocks made from old CDs, handmade quilts, knitted clothing, hats, and accessories, jewellery, and paintings. Out on the grass are half a dozen folks selling plants and herbs for your garden.
