Unlike Any Other
Unlike plain old gyms or fitness clubs specializing in a single form of activity, Movement to Health is a diversified organization, offering a variety of health and fitness classes, retreats and programs designed to educate, enhance and enrich the lives of participants.

Lace Up!
The curriculum at Movement to Health focuses mainly on running and yoga. From beginner’s classes to 10-kilometres to marathon training, there is something for every level of athlete. In addition to the physical aspect of the sport, participants will also learn how to incorporate changes in nutrition, how to add strength training techniques and how to visualize their success while building a solid running program that suits them perfectly. Yoga classes are also tailored to fit a variety of skill levels; join a group or indulge in some private lessons on your own.

Boot Camp
Yes, you read correctly. A four to five week program, Movement to Health’s boot camp consists of intensive yoga and a regimented eating plan (fruits, veggies, whole grains, legume and small amounts of animal products). Be prepared to tuck away your sweet tooth; refined sugars are forbidden! The camp is designed to help participants lose weight, gain more energy, build muscle and create healthy habits to last a lifetime. Most of all, the boot camp is a wonderful opportunity to kick start a new lifestyle.

Network of Support
One of the distinguishing characteristics of Movement to Health, and arguably one of its selling points, is an atmosphere of community and camaraderie. Each program is accompanied by personalized support through group talks, email, website and e-newsletters, to ensure that members are content and on track to meet their goals. Many of the classes on offer are only open to females, the aim of which is to provide women with a safe haven in which to improve their health, build lasting friendships and become sources of inspiration to one another. Tell your friends; or better yet, just bring them along!
