Swimming Programs
There is something for all ages at Lowertown Pool. The swim programs include the 50-plus vitality swim, lane swims, and aquafit program. Lowertown pool is a 25 metre-long centennial pool with depths of three metres. The pool is equipped with a one-metre springboard. Lowertown is also used for high school intramurals, water polo synchronized swimming, advanced life-guarding and swim instructor training, diving, underwater hockey and scuba lessons. Anyone can join the water polo and underwater hockey leagues by contacting the organizations through Lowertown's friendly staff. Private functions can also be hosted at the pool. The Lowertown is also home to an affiliate of Dive Ontario, an organization specifically established to provide quality programming and services. The Lowertown Pool provides learn-to-dive programs through Die Ontario.

With a variety of different programs operating under one roof, it’s best to check ahead. There are a variety of advantages to taking out a membership. In addition to cost savings, one membership can be used at different facilities in the city.
