Knox Fine Dining officially opened in the fall of 2007, and since that time has established itself as a favourite for those seeking a fine dining experience in a unique setting. The restaurant is housed in the beautifully cared-for former Knox United Church. The restoration has created a quality atmosphere to enjoy dining and the company of close friends or family.
Lunch and Dinner Service
Christian Barque, executive chef and co-owner, prepares meals with passion, primarily using fresh local ingredients. A variety of cooking styles combine to create unique tastes. The menu tends to change with the season. Expect light fare at lunch like an open faced sandwich with provolone and roasted turkey, or cannelloni topped with mushroom cream sauce. Signature dishes for dinner to choose from include the Angus Rib Steak with a mesquite and peppercorn sauce and the Golden Crisp Duck Breast on a bed of stewed quinoa with okra, spinach, pine nuts and a maple glaze. For special occasions, try the Chef’s Selection, served over five courses with appropriate wine. There are a minimum number of patrons required and due to the preparation time, advance notice is also required.
Stimulate Your Senses
Knox Fine Dining has come up with all the right ingredients to stimulate all your senses. The high ceilings of the church add grandeur, while the lighting accented by stained glass windows sets the mood. Occasionally, jazz music drifts through the building and other special events are created throughout the year.
