Decadent is not the word. If you are looking for the most one-of-a-kind cake possible, look no further than the individual funky and creative concoctions of The Girl with the Most Cake bakery. Catering to weddings, birthdays and just about any occasion, these brightly decorated works of art will turn any occasions into a true celebration with a cake or edible sculpture as a centrepiece.

Cake as a Medium
The bakery is owned an operated by artist Linda Bartlett who has been studying the art of baking since 2000 and opened up shop in 2004. She has created many of the recipes and designs herself, and considers cake her latest "medium." It is easy to see why with icing molded and shaped into just about any design she can think of. She also creates edible centrepieces made to order with brightly decorated icing and chocolate. Using the freshest ingredients, these cakes really do have to be seen to be believed.

Made-to-Order
There is no store front, but customers can call ahead for a personal consultation and a look through her portfolio. Bartlett suggests at least two weeks' notice for specially made cakes and to allow about two months of design preparation for larger projects like wedding cakes. The shop also offers a sliding scale where if a client sets the price he or she wants to pay, Bartlett will create a cake that fits his or her budget. There is also a delivery and installation service available, as the cakes can get quite elaborate.
