Exciting Modern Alternatives for Art Lovers
Opened in 2007, Gallery 155b is housed in a building full of artists. The owner, an artist himself, has had a studio in this space for approximately a decade before opening the gallery. His inspiration came from viewing modern works found in galleries of larger cities such as Montreal, Toronto or New York. This idea was combined with his established networks with other artists both locally and around the world that offered excellent sources for attaining progressive, fun and contemporary pieces.
Check Out the Old Horse Stable
At any given time, the owner will showcase a variety of displays in exciting, avant-garde and contemporary art. The expansive location also allows for a vast range of artistic expressions to be displayed. The gallery is located in an inspirational space that was previously a horse stable, complete with three enormous glass brick windows facing north along one wall, clapboard floors and wooden beams. The white painted walls and grey floors ensure that nothing distracts from the artist’s renditions.
