Popular Ski Hill
With more than 160 acres of terrain, Edelweiss Valley can accommodate all levels of skiers and snowboarders, from those just starting out to those looking for an extreme downhill experience. Edelweiss Valley offers 18 great slopes—17 of which offer manmade snow. There are two quad chairs, one double chair lift and a magic carpet to get skiers and boarders up the slopes. Edelweiss has developed a great snowboard park, complete with half pipe and terrain park.
On a Magic Carpet Ride
Edelweiss Valley offers a wonderful lift for beginning skiers and snowboarders of all ages. Located on Zoomer, a perfectly groomed, wide run with a gentle slope, the magic carpet lift carries the new and nervous up the hill. Children love meeting Edelweiss's mascot, also named Zoomer. Zoomer is a big, cuddly raccoon who certainly knows his way around a ski hill. Children are eager to mimic their friendly host and quickly feel at home on the slopes.
At the Bottom of the Mountain
Edelweiss is home to a progressive ski school that offers programs for all ages and levels of skier and snowboarder. If your child is and advanced skier, Edelweiss Valley also offers several competitive racing clubs to train and compete in local circuits. Guests can take a break from the slopes in Edelweiss’s comfortable lodge and enjoy something from the menu at the restaurant.
