Break a Sweat
The Dow’s Lake Pavilion is a year-round recreational facility with a fully functional marina. It is a hot spot for just about any sport, any season. Summer, spring and early fall see the rental of canoes, peddle boats, kayaks bicycles and in-line skates. Frequent the Pavilion in the winter and the possibilities are no less numerous; from snowshoes and cross-country skis to skates and sleighs, this is the perfect place to meet for an adventurous and entertaining workout.

Pull Up a Seat
Satisfy your post-exercise appetite with a delicious meal at one of the Pavilion’s two restaurants. Malone’s Lakeside Grill features a variety of munchies, including pub fare the likes of pizza, burgers and sandwiches, as well as fancier alternatives of steak and seafood and a selection of Greek and Italian eats. Mexicali Rosa’s offers Californian-style Mexican food, including nachos, fajitas and quesadillas. Their guacamole is top notch! Both restaurants, feature terraces that look out onto the lake, creating a lovely atmosphere in which to enjoy a meal and great conversation.

Party at the Pavilion
In addition to restaurants and sports activities, the Pavilion also boasts full catering services and banquet facilities for groups of 30-120 people. Each banquet hall is substantially sized and offers a great view of the lake. The Pavilion’s location and surrounding scenery provide a perfectly elegant backdrop for a wedding, an anniversary or any such special celebrations. A Great Stepping Stone
Many tourists and locals use the Pavilion as a stepping stone to some of Ottawa's nearby attractions, like the Agricultural Museum and the Dominion Arboretum, as well as the annual Tulip Festival. There is sufficient parking nearby and a bike path that leads right up to the Pavilion steps. This is a great place to take a date for a variety of reasons including the location, the scenery and the sheer quantity of activities on offer.
