Diwali serves up the finest Southern Indian cuisine in the area. Traditional vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes are available starting with appetizers such as soups, samosas, pakoras, and potato vadas. Dosas are a popular starter, made with lentils and rice and eaten with soup and chutneys. The Queen’s Delight is stuffed with delicately spiced mushrooms and potatoes. Curry vegetarian dishes include Mughlai eggplant, stir-fried and cooked in creamy yogurt-based curry. There is also Palak Paneer, curried spinach cooked with the Indian style cheese (paneer).
