Atmosphere
Formerly known as Roses Café, the new and improved Diwali restaurant is deliberately designed to provide an intimate dining experience. Each location provides the right décor to enjoy quality time with friends and family. This comfortable place is also a good location to bring a business associate for a casual yet tasty meal. The changing menu offers up a daily surprise that is guaranteed to please.

Traditional Delicacies
Diwali serves up the finest Southern Indian cuisine in the area. Traditional vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes are available starting with appetizers such as soups, samosas, pakoras, and potato vadas. Dosas are a popular starter, made with lentils and rice and eaten with soup and chutneys. The Queen’s Delight is stuffed with delicately spiced mushrooms and potatoes. Curry vegetarian dishes include Mughlai eggplant, stir-fried and cooked in creamy yogurt-based curry. There is also Palak Paneer, curried spinach cooked with the Indian style cheese (paneer). Chicken, beef, lamb, and seafood provide an extensive non-vegetarian menu.

Options
Diwali offers you the chance to sample a wide variety of dishes during its daily lunch buffet. This reasonably priced meal has the options you’re looking for at the right time. The restaurant also offers a customized catering service for any occasion and any sized gathering, as well as a take-out menu with reasonably priced dishes. For something special, visit the Wellington Street location for live jazz Fridays at noon and Saturday nights. Diwali is always encouraging local artists to perform and add another level of enjoyment to the dining out experience.
