Nestled in the heart of the City of Ottawa, this 966 seat world-class facility is home to “Front and Centre” professional presentations, commercial presenters and local producers. The second largest theatre in the region, Centrepointe Theatre features a large variety of presentations. Past events include opera superstar Paul Potts, comedy great Russell Peters, The Barra MacNeils, John McDermott, Lorne Elliott, Fred Eaglesmith and Doc Walker.
Local Talent Finds a Home
Centrepointe Theatre is home to a number of excellent local community groups. The Orpheus Musical Theatre Society, The Savoy Society, Les Petits Ballets, Nepean Choir and the Canadian Showcase Chorus are just a few of the groups who perform at the theatre. The volunteer team makes up a large part of theatre staff with over 200 members. The theatre is always looking for more help in areas like technical production and patron services, including marketing and community relations.
