Photo Gallery
This is a euro-style gallery working to become a pit-stop of cultural delight. Open since November 2005, the Café was originally intended to serve as a showcase for the works of world-renowned photographer Jean-Marc Carisse. Over the course of his career Carisse has photographed politicians such as Pierre Trudeau and Bill Clinton, music stars Bob Dylan and Celine Dion and world icons such as Mother Teresa and Pope Jean-Paul II. Need a unique gift or piece of art for your own home? Most of the works on display are for sale. Besides the works of Carisse, the studio also lends itself to poetry readings, readings by local authors and performances by local singers. They also hope to be an outlet for up and coming photographers one day.

Part Coffee House
Past the couch and window seat, past the four tables in the centre and at the back you will find the café’s other delight. From this far off spot you can enjoy an Italian Swiss blend coffee that is always fresh – never from a thermos. You won’t find a lot of different coffees here but what they have is always good. If you’re looking for a quick bite of lunch while you enjoy your surroundings, try the café’s fresh panini.

Need a Portrait
Since Carisse is often at the café (he works from there), it is not unusual for people to come for a visit and leave after a photo shoot of their own. If that’s what you’re hoping for, call ahead to make sure you won’t be disappointed.
