By The Way has a spacious basement suite that has one room with a queen bed and a twin bed; full private bathroom; and another room with full kitchen and dining facilities. There is a private entrance from the side of the home. This is a good spot for extended stays in Ottawa. The White Room is well-appointed and has a deluxe queen bed and an ensuite bathroom. The Green Room has two twin beds which have been designed to be put together to make a king bed.

If you are not in your room, By The Way provides a quiet common reading room with a television. The central air-conditioning is a must have on those hot humid summer days.
