Bocado may have a Spanish name, but the restaurant serves up an exotic list of cuisines. This includes foods from Spain, France, Italy, Greece and northern Africa. The menu features seafood, lamb, curries and Mediterranean vegetables. Also, expect lots of eggplant, zucchinis and succulently roasted meats. The ingredients are always fresh, mouth-watering and carefully prepared. And it can all be enjoyed with a delicious side of bread, olive oil, balsamic vinegar and plump black olives. The flavours are strong and the portions are large. Better yet, the prices are affordable. So you can definitely splurge on dessert and pick something from the large Italian wine selection. Who doesn’t need a slice of chocolate truffle cake to top off a delicious meal?
Warm Dining
Bocado is located in the Somerset Village – an area known for its choice of quaint and exotic restaurants. The restaurant is in a remodelled brick house with high ceilings, great windows and hardwood floors. The decor reflects the exotic nature of the restaurant, but more importantly, there’s a warm and intimate feel to the dining experience. There’s space in the upper level that’s perfect for private parties.
