Located in the Central Experimental Farm in Ottawa, The Arboretum displays a wide range of mature trees and shrubs, some dating back to 1889, the year the Arboretum was established.

Covering some 26 hectares of rolling land between Prince of Wales Drive and the Rideau Canal, the Arboretum is across the street from the beautiful Ornamental Gardens. It's a popular spot for summer strolls and family picnics and winter nature walks. Conveniently, it's free of charge and open to the public daily from sunrise to sunset.
